North Central University Athletics

Josh Phelps is in his fourth season on the North Central University Track & Field coaching staff.

Prior to joining the Rams, Phelps attended Minnesota State University, Mankato for five years and graduated with two bachelor’s Degrees in Sports Management and Finance with a Minor in Business Administration.

During his time at Mankato, Phelps was part of the Track & Field program, where he competed in mid-distance sprints. In his years competing, he was a 2x Indoor 4x400 First Team All-American, 2x MNSU Record Holder, 7x Conference Champion, 2x NSIC Athlete of the Week, 15x NSIC Conference Point Scorer, 2x NSIC All-Academic Team, and was part of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. Phelps is also Level 1 USATF Certified.

A Native from Stillwater, Minnesota. Phelps is a 2017 Graduate of Stillwater Area High School, where he competed in Soccer, Basketball, and Track and Field.
