David Rohrbach

David Rohrbach is in his second season as the head coach of the NCU Women's Basketball program.

He spent the 2023-24 season as the full-time assistant coach for women's basketball, helping lead the team to the UMAC playoffs and NCCAA National Tournament. He had spent the last 8 years prior as a high school head varsity basketball coach.

As a high school coach, Rohrbach has an overall record of 113-61. Before coming to North Central, he spent one season as the boys' head coach at Brookings High School, competing in the largest class in South Dakota. Prior to this, he was the boys' basketball head coach and athletic director at Aberdeen Christian High School. Here he led his team to 3 straight State B Tournament appearances from 2020-2022, as well as a state championship game appearance in 2021 and conference championships in 2020 and 2022. He was voted a top 6 Coach of the Year for the 2019-2020 season and received All-Area Coach of the Year in 2020. In 2021, he was also voted Region 1 Coach of the Year. The 2021-2022 season marked Rohrbach's 6th straight winning season. In his 8 years of coaching high school basketball, he has had multiple players go on to play at the collegiate level across various divisions. 

Rohrbach graduated from Valley City State University and Trinity Bible College with double majors in physical education and biblical studies in 2014. He played 4 years of college basketball, in which he earned All-Region Honorable Mention honors. He currently resides in the Twin Cities and is working on his master's degree in strategic leadership at NCU.
