Elizabeth “Liz” Richards joins the North Central University Athletic Training staff bringing a strong background in Division I athletics and a passion for high-level patient care.
Richards earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana Wesleyan University from 2019-2022 before completing physical therapy school at Baylor University from 2023-2024. During her time at Baylor, she gained hands-on experience working with the Bears’ Track & Field program from January through June of 2025, where she supported Division I student-athletes most notably pole vaulters and javelin throwers while collaborating closely with sport coaches and medical professionals. Prior to joining North Central, Richards also worked with the Mayo Clinic.

Richards now resides in Minneapolis. Outside of athletics, she enjoys traveling and trying new experiences highlighted by a memorable trip to Portugal after winning an influencer giveaway, where she learned how to surf. Richards aspires to work alongside Olympic-level athletes in the future, providing the highest quality of care and support to help athletes perform at their best. A former volleyball athlete, Liz played throughout high school and continues to play when she can. She also enjoys long-distance running and is currently debating training for her first marathon.
