North Central University Athletics

Lydia Warner started her role as Assistant Athletic Director for Internal Operations in July of 2023 and, as of August of 2025, was also named Senior Woman Administrator. Previously, she worked as an athletic communications graduate assistant for two years, helping with game day management, social media, and much more pertaining to NCU teams. Lydia has also served as an assistant cross country coach for the past four years.

In her new role as NCU’s Senior Woman Administrator, Warner serves as a key advocate for female student-athletes and provides a voice in departmental leadership to help ensure equity, opportunity, and support across all sports. She will work closely with the athletic administration on governance, compliance, and student-athlete well-being, while also continuing to mentor and support Rams student-athletes in their athletic and academic pursuits.

Prior to joining the Rams, Warner attended and graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul, where she competed in Cross Country and Track from 2016-2020. During her time as an athlete, she was named to the NSIC All-Academic Team, given the Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award, was part of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and named a captain of the track and field team. On the academic side, Lydia was named Sports Management Student of the Year for the 2019-2020 school year for her hard work in the classroom and athletics department.

A native of Elk River, Minnesota, Lydia is a 2016 graduate of Elk River High School where she competed in cross country, Nordic skiing, and track and field.
