Nic Sheley

Nicolas Sheley is entering his first season as an assistant coach for NCU Baseball after serving as a coaching intern with the team last year.

A lifelong baseball player, Sheley has 17 years of experience on the field, including two seasons as a pitcher and infielder for the Rams in 2022 and 2023. His collegiate career was cut short due to Tommy John surgery after his sophomore season, but he was recognized for his character and sportsmanship, earning the UMAC Individual Sportsmanship Award in 2023.

Originally from Oregon, Sheley developed his love for baseball at a young age and was a standout on the Washington Oregon East (WOE) travel team. He also played baseball and basketball at Pendleton High School.

Now in his final semester at North Central, Sheley is set to graduate in spring 2025 with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management.
