Tyler Engel is in his 1st year as North Central University's Athletic Operations Coordinator and 5th year as the Intramural Coordinator.
In his Athletic Operations Coordinator role, he provides leadership across athletic operations, recruitment support, event management, and campus engagement while helping create a positive, service-minded experience for student-athletes and visitors.
Engel helps manage all aspects of game day and event operations, including visiting team communication, itineraries, locker room assignments, hospitality, parking logistics, game contracts, officials, and event checklists. He also assists in supervising athletic events.
He provides support to all athletic programs through recruiting operations by maintaining shared databases, partnering with admissions, and helping coordinate campus visits for prospective student-athletes.
Within the department, Engel contributes to communication and organization by preparing weekly game day information packets, assisting with the master athletics calendar, coordinating details with other campus offices, and helping with reports and compliance paperwork.
He also leads NCU’s intramural programming by overseeing scheduling, supervising student staff, and encouraging campus-wide participation in recreational activities.
