MANKATO, Minn. - North Central University went on the road on Thursday afternoon to take on the Vikings of Bethany Lutheran College (2-3-2 UMAC). The Rams battled Bethany into two overtime periods as neither team was able to create separation ending the game in a 0-0 draw.

- The Rams found themselves in a defensive battle on Thursday evening. Neither team found much success on the opponent's side of the field as both could not find many scoring opportunities throughout the first period. The score remained locked in a 0-0 tie as the game broke for halftime. Out of the break, it was much of the same, as both continued to play extremely stout on the defensive end. Both teams had a few opportunities late in the contest as both had corner kick attempts, but neither could turn those opportunities into points. Ninety minutes proved not to be enough to decide this one, sending the two into overtime. Keeping with the pattern of the game, defense continued to play a role in the contest as neither team was able to come away with a goal, sending us to the second overtime period of the contest, but this period did not help find a winner as the game would end in a 0-0 draw.
