Box Score MANKATO, Minn. - North Central University went on the road on Thursday afternoon to take on the Vikings of Bethany Lutheran College. The Rams tried to mount a comeback against the UMAC foe, but would unfortunately fall short by the score of 2-3.

- The Rams were able to hold off the Vikings scoring attack to begin the contest on Thursday afternoon, as they had a few early opportunities in the early minutes, but Ellie Tieszen was able to hold her ground in the net keeping the game scoreless. The first half ended with the two still scoreless, but the Vikings quickly turned the narrative in the second half. Bethany came out of the break and quickly scored their first and second goal of the contest to take a 2-0 lead. The Rams answered with a goal of their own in the 67th minute by Emma Brekhus to inch back into the game. The Vikings immediately pushed their lead back to 2 goals 3 seconds later. North Central looked to mount a comeback late in the contest as freshman, Payton Swoboda, scored in the 76th minute to cut the lead back to one, but it was a little too late for the Rams as they would be held scoreless to end the game and fall to the Vikings by a score of 2-3.
