- North Central fought extremely hard with the second seed in the UMAC , and kept the game very tight for much of the contest. The Ram's defensive effort kept the Eagles of of the score board for the first 45 minutes, but they were unable to find the back of the net themselves, so both teas headed to the break scoreless. The Eagles came out of halftime with something to prove as they quickly turned the 0-0 tie into a 4 goal lead, only eight minutes into the second period. The Rams were unable to match the Eagle's offensive fire power, mustering only one second half shot. The Eagles added one more goal late in the period to push their lead to five goals. The Rams continued to fight until the final whistle, but could not seem to find an answer to slow down the Eagles as they would fall by a score of 5-0.
