Box Score ANKENY, Iowa - North Central University went on the road on Friday to take on the Pilots of Providence-Manitoba in a neutral site, nonconference, contest. The Rams were unable to slow down the Pilot's offensive pace as they fell to Providence 2-7.

- The Rams were on their heels early as the Pilots came out of the gate firing. North Central was able to keep them off the scoreboard for much of the first period, but Providence broke the ice with a goal in the 26th minute to take a 1-0 lead. The Pilots added to their lead in the 40th minute, which eventually sent the Rams to the break trailing by a score of 2-0. Providence started the second period with a goal in the 52nd minute to continue to put more distance between them and the Rams. North Central once again looked to freshman, Payton Swoboda, for a spark as she was able to put the Rams on the board in the 56th minute. The Rams added another goal in the 76th minute, but would be unable to find an answer for the Pilot's scoring attack as they would score four more goals before the final whistle resulting in a 2-7 loss for the Rams.
