Game Recap

• Carthage hit their first shot at the 39:42 mark at the onset of the game to take a 2-0 lead and never looked back. NCU did their best to keep pace in the first half as AJ McGrew pulled the Rams within ten points after hitting the backend of two shots from the free-throw line at the 14:47 mark in the first half. At the end of the half the Rams would trail 39-21. The second half would continue to be all Carthage as the Red Men would build on their lead, shooting 53.3 percent from the field to extend their lead over the Rams to 27 over the second half to defend their home court in the first matchup of the Carthage College Classic.
