KENOSHA, Wisc. - North Central University (NCU) men's basketball earned their second win of the young season on Saturday at the Carthage College Classic against Finlandia University.
Jared High posted a season high 23 points to lead the Rams over the Lions by a score of 85-75. The win moves the Rams closer to .500 with a record of 2-3 overall.

- The Rams shot 44.3 percent (27-for-61) from the field as the Lions shot 37.7 percent (23-for-61)
- NCU out shot Finlandia from behind the arc as they shot 40.9 percent (22-for-36) to 33.3 percent (11-for-33) from three point range.
- NCU only had eight turnovers on the offensive end compared to nineteen from Finlandia.

- The Rams led from the very start in this game as they took the lead as Jared High hit a jumper within the first minute of the contest. High would continue to impress all night as he led the Rams scoring efforts. NCU took an eleven point lead into the locker room at half time as they shot 46.7 percent in the first half. The Rams would push the lead to it's largest spread of 18 in the second half as they led 79-61 with 3:47 remaining after a layup from Jared High. High would end up with his first double-double of the season as he posted 23 points and 10 rebounds in a strong showing to lead the Rams. NCU was able to capitalize with strong depth as ten different Rams scored in the game.

- The Rams will look to take the momentum from the strong non-conference win into next week as they will travel across the Twin Cities for a road contest at Hamline University on Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off against the Pipers.
