• Macalester out scored NCU 20-12 in the 3rd quarter to take a 1 point lead heading into the 4th quarter. 
• The Rams were out shot by the Scots from beyond the arc 13 percent (3-for-23) to 33 percent (7-for-21)

Game Recap

• The Rams and Scots were neck and neck throughout much of the first half, with the Rams holding on to a narrow 17-16 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Rams were impressive on the defensive end holding, the Scots to a mere 9 points in the second quarter to head into halftime leading 33 to 26. The Rams looked posied to break the game open after they knocked down two quick buckets to start the second half, pushing the lead to 37-26. The Scots inched back into the contest with some timely scoring, eventually leading to a roaring comeback to take a 46-45 lead entering the 4th quarter. The Rams fought but were unable to mount a comeback and fell short to the Scots 63-55. The Rams were led by Freshman Naomi Hagstrom who had 19 points.
