ASHLAND, Wis. - North Central University went on the road on Wednesday afternoon to take on the Lumberjacks of Northland College in an UMAC bout, in which the Rams were able to come away with a 4-2 victory.

Game Recap
- North Central's offense busted out of the gate sending any opportunity they could towards the net, but they were unable to put points on the board for most of the 1st period. The Rams finally broke the game open in the 35th minute as senior, Kaleb Smith, netted the first goal of the game and gave the Rams the lead. North Central added to their lead right before the end of the half as Andrew Davidson sent a shot to the back of the net in the final minute of the period. The Rams kept their foot on the gas in the second period as they were able to score two more goals, both coming from the team leader in goals, Danny Williams. Northland would not go away as they would inch closer in the game by getting two goals of their own. North Central was able to hold off Northland's comeback attempt with some timely defense to escape with a 4-2 victory.

- The Rams will once again be on the road as they head to Morris, Minn., to take on the Cougars in a UMAC battle on Saturday, September 29th at 4:30 p.m. This will be the second time the two will meet as the Rams came away with an overtime victory in the first contest.
