Game Recap
- The Vikings opened the game with their usual fast paced style of play, jumping out to a lead early in the first half. The Rams were struggling to hit shots early in in the half. Their perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line was their key to keeping their ground in the contest. The Vikings outscored the Rams 20-2 over the course of the final minutes of the first half. The Vikings held a commanding 46-24 lead heading into the break. Senior Jared High helped the Rams try to mount the comeback by hitting back to back shots, but again the Vikings answered with a run of their own. The Rams battled, thanks to some impressive second half scoring from freshman Micah Filer, who connected on three three-pointers in as many positions, but it proved to be a little to late for the Rams. Bethany Lutheran closed out the contest just as hot as they started knocking down seven second half-threes en route to their 99-72 victory.
