ST BONIFACIUS, Minn - The North Central University men's basketball team fell in an instant classic matchup on Saturday afternoon at Upper Midwest Athletic Conference rival, Crown College. The Storm prevailed over the Rams in double overtime as they won by a score of 126-115. The Rams were led by great performances from
Micah Filer,
Jared High and
AJ McGrew. Filer posted a career high 33 points while
AJ McGrew posted a season high 22 points.

Game Recap
- Crown got off to an early start as they built a ten point lead early in the game. The Rams battled back and took a narrow lead after a made layup from Jared High with roughly nine minutes remaining in the half. The Rams would take a one point advantage into the locker room at the break as they led 36-35. The second half would continue to be a battle as the lead changed hands many times down the stretch. Crown built a multiple possession lead but the Rams showed tremendous fight. Jared High hit two free-throws to put the Rams down seven with under three-minutes remaining in regulation. NCU trailed by five with forty-five seconds remaining before Riley Loukinen hit a three-point basket to cut the lead to two points. With ten seconds remaining freshman Micah Filer hit a three-point basket to force overtime.
           The first overtime period resembled the back and forth affair that this game had already been. Crown led by three-points with a minute left before
Jared High hit a three-point basket             to tie the game up with fifty seconds remaining in overtime. Both teams would get chances to take the lead but would miss both, sending this game to a second overtime period. In             the second overtime, Crown would build an early lead as the Rams began to lose players due to foul trouble. The Storm would build to a fourteen point lead with one minute             remaining after Josh Volness hit both free-throw attempts from the line. The Rams would continue to fight but and cut into the Crown lead, but ultimately ran out of time.
