Box Score MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -  On another frigid night in downtown Minneapolis, the North Central University (NCU) women's basketball team played host to the Martin Luther College (MLC) Knights.  Freshman Naomi Hagstrom recorded a double-double, while the hot shooting Rams moved their win streak to 4 as they took down the Knights at home by a score of 80-46.

• The Rams have been playing as good as anybody in the conference and on Thursday night that style of play continued. The Rams shot a blazing 76.5 percent (13-for-17) from the field in the 1st quarter. Freshman Naomi Hagstrom scored 11 points for the Rams in the first quarter, which propelled them to a commanding 31-10 lead at the end of the first. The Rams stayed on the gas as they opened the 2^nd quarter with a 6-0 run, forcing a Knights timeout. With back-to-back three point buckets by Betty Rand, the Rams managed to go on yet another run, this time a 10-0 run. The Rams outscored the Knights 16-0 in the first 6 minutes of the 2^nd quarter. With their hot shooting, the Rams took a 48-19 lead heading into the halftime break. The Rams would continue to use their balanced scoring attack in the second half, with 4 of their starters hitting double digit point totals in the 3rd quarter. The Rams lead 66-28 heading into the final quarter of play. Once the Rams grabbed the lead they never looked back, as the Rams led for all 40 minutes of the contest. The Rams defeated the Knights by a score of 80-46, moving them to 13-7 (7-5).
