Game Recap

The Saints jumped out of the gate with a fury from the first whistle. The Saints took control of the lead in just the 3rd minute of the contest thanks to a goal from Saint's forward, Nolan Friday, that found the lower left corner of the net. NCU turned up the defensive pressure, fighting to to hold CSS from adding on to their lead. The Saints found more opportunities, but back-up goalkeeper Isaac Mugisha did what he could in relief, turning away 12 shots on goal from the Saints. After hitting a cold spell, the Saints found their groove once again, adding two more goals late in the first period. With the Rams failing to find an offensive spark in the second half, the Saints netted two more goals to run away with a 5-0 victory.
