Game Recap
The Vikings came roaring out of the gate with a goal from their freshman forward, Joao Bastos, in the 5th minute of the game to steal the early 1-0 lead. Bethany continued their offensive game plan firing shot after shot at the net. NCU was able to combat the Vikings effort with some defensive pressure, but Bethany broke the game open with two more goals in the 20th and 26th minute of the match. After trailing 3-0 at the break, NCU searched for an offensive spark and found a few scoring opportunities but could not quite capitalize. With the Rams failing to make noise on the scoreboard, the Vikings kept their foot on the gas with a few more late goals in the contest to pull away for the 6-0 victory over the Rams.
