MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- The North Central University (NCU) women's basketball team won by over 50 points for the second time this week against Oak Hills Christian College (OHCC). At home, the Rams raised their record to an undefeated 5-0 with the 97-45 win.
Game Recap
It was a back-and-forth game to start, with each team trading baskets early on. The Wolfpack came out strong and were able to hold their own in the first ten minutes. In the second quarter, the Rams' defense toughened up, which fueled a 28-5 run led by
Emily DiGiorgio (Ironwood, MI, Luther L. Wright High School) who had 17 points in the second quarter alone. The team's energy and momentum was unmatched and continued to grow in the second half. They never let up and finished the game strong, shooting 45% beyond the arc in the fourth quarter. Similar to the Rams' previous game against the Wolfpack, it was an all around team effort. NCU recorded an astounding 24 assists, 23 steals, and 36 second chance baskets. The North Central bench also made their impact felt by contributing 38 points to the the Rams' total of 97.Â
In honor of senior guardÂ
Kennedy Wilson (Everly, IA, Clay Central Everly High School), the players held a ceremony at halftime to applaud her for an incredible four years of servant leadership bestowed within the women's basketball program.
Wilson tallied 11 boards and 5 steals in her farewell game as the lone senior for NCU women's basketball.

- Emily DiGiorgio had another strong performance by leading the Rams with 29 points and 7 rebounds.
- Jocelyn Talso (Blaine, MN, Spring Lake Park High School)Â recorded two threes for a total of 12 points. She also tallied 3Â steals.
- Kayla Hola (Bastrop, TX, Bastrop High School) made her way onto the stat sheet for the Rams with 10 points and 8 rebounds.
Looking Ahead
Improving to an overall record of 5-0, NCU women's basketball team heads into Thanksgiving break with massive momentum.
