MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- Looking to continue to 4-0, the North Central University (NCU) women's basketball team hosted Central Christian College of the Bible (CCCB) in another nonconference affair. The Rams dominated the Saints in every aspect with a final score of 103-38.
Game Recap
The Rams were ready to go right from the start as they matched up with CCCB. The Saints didn't know what hit them as NCU pressed in the opening minutes, forcing turnover after turnover. The intensity from the Ram's defense really set the tone for the game and helped generate lots of offense. In total, NCU forced 31 turnovers and scored 51 points off of those mishandles by the Saints.
Aubrey Robinson (Colorado Springs, CO, Sierra High School) was tough to get past on the defensive end having five steals. On the flip side, the Rams took excellent care of the ball and their offense flowed smoothly as they pushed the tempo.
Emily DiGiorgio (Ironwood, MI, Luther L. Wright High School) ran the floor and was able to post up as she had 14 points.Â
Because of the CCCB turnovers and 18 steals by the Rams, NCU had many chances to attack the hoop and they were successful most of the time. 11 Rams contributed to the score and six were in double figures. Each player on the NCU team added to the win, including 48 points from the bench.
Mary Seegers (Oconomowoc, WI, Homeschool)Â shot a remarkable 85% from the field scoring 14 points.
Bethany Shield (Lincoln, NE, Lincoln Southwest High School) showed off her distributing skills with four assists. With three offensive boards and eight points, freshman
Ann Smith (Fargo, ND, South High School) used her speed to run the floor.
NCU moves to 4-0 with this 60 point win. The Rams seem to get better and more cohesive with each game and will be a dangerous team to play down the stretch.

- In just 11 minutes, Mary Seegers scored 14 points with two three pointers.
- Senior Emily DiGiorgio had 14 points and three rebounds.
- Naomi Hagstrom (Zimmerman, MN, Zimmerman High School) had a great night all around with 13 points, two rebounds, three assist, and two steals.
Looking Ahead
The Rams will finish out this first stretch of basketball before Thanksgiving break with a game tomorrow at 6 pm against Graceland University of Iowa at home. All fans are encouraged to tune into official Rams
