Box Score NEW ULM, Minn. -- North Central University (NCU) men's soccer journeyed to MN this afternoon for their final regular-season competition of the UMAC conference against the Martin Luther College (MLC) Knights.

In the first half of today's competition, the Rams phenomenal defense was able to fend off 9 shots, only allowing 2 shots to make it to
Jerad Buse (Kearney, NE, Kearney High School) at goalie for a save. The Rams were not without some close calls of their own. With a beautiful cross to
Adam Vang (Green Bay, WI, Green Bay Southwest High School), he was able to get his second shot on goal in the first half. After a close penalty kick at the half, the score remained tied at zero.
In the second half, NC built some momentum after a quick goal mere seconds into the half and another goal at the 60-minute mark. After this, the Lumberjacks were on a roll and followed the last goal up with a penalty kick goal after nearly 8 more minutes.
