Box Score St. Paul, MN- The North Central University Rams Men's Soccer team took a road trip to battle against the University of Northwestern Eagles. The Rams brought everything they had but after 90 minutes the game would end in a tie 1-1.

In the first period, the Rams didn't take long to pressure on the Eagles as Alex Chacich (Hibbing,MN) put a goal in the net at the twelfth minute. Joseph Majerle (Little Falls, MN) drove down the field to set up the goal perfectly and put the only assist on the board for the Rams. The Rams would keep the lead until the thirty-seventh minute when the Eagles would sneak one into the goal. The game went into the half tied at 1-1. 

In the second half, both teams defenses would tighten up as neither team would score in the second half. The time of possession was split even. The Rams however would only take two shots in the second period, while the Eagles would take ten. Dylan Wolkser (Norway, MI) led the Rams with three shots on the goal but unfortunately none of them went in.

The Rams look forward to traveling on the road for a conference matchup against the Crown College Polars for a game on Thursday, October 13 at 1:00pm
