Box Score St. Bonifacius, MN- The North Central University Rams women's soccer team went on the road for a battle against the Crown College Polars. The Rams put up their best fight but came up short losing four to two.
In the first period,
Kara Lewis (Mandeville, LA) started the game hot as she went up and down the field scoring a unassisted goal in the fifth minute to give the Rams a 1-0 lead. The Polars would answer quickly as the tied the game with a goal in the eighth minute. Crown kept the momentum going as they put another one in the net in the tenth minute to give the Polars a 2-1 lead. For the rest of the half, the Polars kept the pressure on the Rams but they did not break as no team scored for the rest of the half.
In the second period, the Rams defense was keeping up at first. Until the sixty-ninth minute, when the Polars scored another goal to give them a three to one lead.
Kara Lewis (Mandeville, LA) had something to say about the lead, as she dribbled the ball up the field and scored her sixth goal of the season. The unassisted goal brought the game back to 3-2. The Polars didn't take much time to extend the lead as in the seventy-eighth minute they would score the last goal of the game. The Polars played "keep away" for the last twelve minutes and when the buzzer sounded the Crown College Polars defeated the Rams with a score of 4-2.

The North Central Rams next game will be a road trip to Morris, Minnesota to play the Minnesota Morris Cougars on Saturday, October 15, at 3:30pm
