Box Score The North Central University (NCU) volleyball fought a tough four set battle against the conference opponent Morris (UMM) this Saturday.

NCU stunned the Cougars in set one with a 25-23 win. The Rams lead the attack with 11 kills in that set alone along with some incredible stops on defense.
Grace Brigson (West Salem, WI) set the tone offensively 29 assists and
Hailey Lerfald (Wanamingo, MN) put the ball away with 9 kills.
In set two, the Rams and Cougars battled neck and neck, but it was UMM that won 21-25.
Cara Pence (Litchfield, IL) made Morris adjust their defense with her impressive 16 kills for the night.
There was some tight rallies in set three as the tight battle continued. The Rams over powered Morris defensively out-digging them. Libero
McKenna Chick (Hayfield, MN) tallied 9 digs while
Kayla Stachowiak (Lino Lakes, MN) collected 6.
The Cougars dominated the forth set with 5 aces and their power pin hitters. The Rams struggled to get any traction on offense and lost the set 14-25.
The Rams have now taken a set away from every UMAC opponent but one and continue to start off strong with competitive teams.
North Central hits the road to play a non-conference match against Oak Hills on Tuesday night.
