New Ulm, MN- The North Central Rams men's soccer team jumped in the buses for a road trip to New Ulm, MN to take on the Martin Luther College Knights. The Duel was anything but boring as both teams would fight until the very end. The Knights would score a last second goal to give them a 2-1 lead over the Rams.

The first period was a defensive showdown. Both teams took turns applying pressure on the other but neither team having a hiccup. After the long fought first half the game would head into the half with no goals scored. 

The second period was a lot like the first half and both defenses were on. But in the seventy-fourth minute the Rams would have a hiccup giving up the first goal of the game. The goal fired the Rams up as in the eighty-first minute Weston Buckley (Budapest, HU) would take matters into his own hands picking up an unassisted goal for the Rams. That was his eighth goal on the season. When overtime looked to be a formality the Knights would knock a goal in on the eighty-seventh minute. The Rams didn't have the time and the buzzer sounded and the final score was the Knights 2, and the Rams 1.

The Rams will host Bethany Lutheran College for their last regular season game on Saturday, October 29 at 1:00pm
