Box Score Ashland, WI- The North Central Men's soccer team traveled on the road in a game against the Northland College Lumberjacks. After a close game, the Rams fall to Northland College 2-1. 

Right out of the gates, both teams came to play. In the eleventh minute Northland college was the first team to put points on the board. It didn't take long for the Rams to answer as in the fifteenth minute Alex Chacich (Hibbing, MN) puts the ball in the back of the net to tie it up.  Elliott Lebsack (Kearney, NE) set up the goal for Chacich and picked up an assist. For the rest of the first half, both teams' defenses would step up and allow no more goals in the first half.   

In the second half, both teams were fighting. The game was all tied up until the eighty-second minute when Northland College put another in the net giving them a 2-1 lead. The Rams put the pressure on the goal in the final minutes but the team would come up short.

The Rams will stay on the road as they will take on UW-Superior this Saturday, October 8 at 7:30 pm.
