Box Score Ashland, WI- The North Central Rams women's Soccer came up short in a road meeting against the Northland College Lumberjacks. After a tough-fought match, the final score ended with the Rams at zero and Northland College at three. 

In the first half, the game was very competitive. Both teams were bending but neither of them broke. Northland College won the time of possession in the first half with a few good sets for the Rams. After forty-five minutes both teams went into the half with zeros on the board. 

It didn't take long into the second period for Northland to put points on the board. In the forty-seventh minute, Northland put one in the net. The Rams would continue to keep pressure on Northland but unfortunately, the Rams would give up another goal in the sixty-fourth minute. With the Lumberjacks having a 2-0 lead the Rams would give it all they had. After the eighty-third minute, the Rams would give up another goal as the Lumberjacks would take a three-to-zero lead. The Rams were unable to crack the Lumberjack's defense.

The Rams will continue their road trip as they will travel to Superior, Wisconsin to take on the UW-Superior Yellow Jackets on Saturday, October 8th at 5:00 pm.
