Rams lose Conference matchup against UW-Superior

Box Score Superior, WI- The North Central University Men's Soccer team took a road trip to take on the UW-Superior Yellow Jackets. After a dog fight the Rams fell to the Yellow Jackets with a score of 2-0.

In the first period, both teams showed they weren't going to give up anything easy as it was a defensive showdown. The Rams only allowed one goal in the first period in the eighteenth minute. The Rams dominated the first half time of possession, but they did not put anything into the net. As halftime approached the Rams were down one goal to none.

In the second period, the defensive battle would continue as both offenses were struggling. In the sixty-third minute the Yellow Jackets would sneak in a goal behind the Rams goalie and would stretch their lead to two goals to none. With UW-superior playing a lot of "keep away" for the rest of the game it was a little too much for the Rams and eventually the game would end with a two goal to none victory for the Yellow Jackets.

Looking ahead:

The North Central University Rams will travel to St Paul, MN to take on the University of Northwestern Eagles on October 11, at 5:00pm.
