NCU brought the fire right away in set 1 and 2. They dominated both sets winning 25-17 and 25-22. The Rams hit over .250% in both sets and had 5 aces.
Cara Pence (Litchfield, IL) continued her hot streak with a total of 11 kills on the match, 2 aces, and 3 blocks. While
Grace Brigson (West Salem, WI) pulled the team together with her impressive 35 assists, 2 aces, and 12 digs.

Set 3 and 4 was an uphill battle for North Central. The Lumberjills made some great adjustments to their offense that made the Rams lose both sets 15-25 and 21-25. Even when NCU's offense was finding ways to put down the ball, the defense kept their consistency.
McKenna Chick (Hayfield, MN) had total of 17 digs on the Lumberjills and
Makayla Krohnberg (Blaine, MN)Â collected 15.

Set 5 started slow for the Rams, but turned things around after coach
Faith Ooms called a timeout at 6-10. NCU found their offensive strategy in
Hailey Lerfald (Wanamingo, MN) who brought the Rams home with a season high of 18 kills. Makayla finished the game off with 2 aces and North Central won a nail biter 15-13

Beating #3 in the UMAC puts Rams conference record at 3-4. This has NCU tied for 4
th in the Upper Midwest Conference along with a 12-6 record, the highest season record to date.
