Minneapolis, MN- The North Central Rams women's basketball team had their first home game of the season as they took on Alverno College. The Rams fire power outweighed the Inferno as they took a commanding win 65-33.
In the first quarter the Rams shot out the cannons hot as they outscored the Inferno 23-9 in the first quarter to set the tone early. The Rams shots were falling and the defense was on point. However as the second quarter came to pass the Rams offense was cold as they cold only put up four points in the quarter but went into the half with a 27-16 lead over Alverno.
The locker room at halftime must have been electric as the Rams came out to start the third quarter ready to play. They dominated on both sides of the ball for the entire half. They won the assist battle pretty commandingly, 14-1. Even with the Rams only shooting 33% from the floor they still had enough game in them to secure the win over Alverno to pick up their first win of the season and remain undefeated at home.
