Box Score Ankeny, IA -- The North Central University (NCU) Rams women's basketball team continued their Iowa play at Faith Baptist Bible College. NCU dominated the Central Christian Saints winning 81-39.
NCU set the tone early with some drives to the paint totaling 26 points in the first quarter.
Alaysia Rusch (Appleton, WI) led the team with 13 points in her 17 minutes. North Central went on a hot streak in the second quarter while only allowing the Saints to score 5 points.Â
Bryce Brewster (Burnsville, MN)Â led the Rams in steals which helped prevented Central Christian from consistent offensive attacks. The Rams finished the half with momentum on their side leading 47-16.

Kaitlyn VanderPloeg's (Clear Lake, IA) back-to-back buckets. North Central's bench played a major role in the team's success. Freshman
Caitlyn Ryan (Papillion, NE) collected 6 points and 4 rebounds. Every player got minutes in today's game, and everyone made an impact as they held Central to shooting only 23.1% from the field. NCU's shooting percentage and defensive depth resulted in the Rams beating the Saints 81-39.
