Box Score Ankeny, IA - Men's Basketball wins in another blow-out fashion against Faith Baptist in the second game of the Faith Baptist Classic. The final score of the contest was 87-54 in favor of the Rams.
After a great performance yesterday, the Rams came out on fire again starting off the game on 13-0 run. With seven minutes left to go in the first half, NCU's lead was up to 23 points and after that, the game was just out of reach for Faith. The score at the end of the first half was a whopping 53-28 for the Rams. Controlling the action on both ends of the court was key for the Rams as they were winning the boards (40-29), had over double the assists (20-8), and won the turnover battle (14-20) for the whole contest.
The second half saw many players getting in the action as the Rams continued to hold their lead through the end of the game with a 33-point victory. Points in the paint were a key to the Rams controlling this contest having 50 themselves compared to Faith's 18. The Rams also had 45 points off the bench as well, giving them a good advantage.
