Box Score 2 The North Central University (NCU) Rams Women's Volleyball team took down all 4 of their NCCAA opponents. Today they hosted Calvary Christian and Oak Hills winning both matches to go uncontested in their region.

Match 1 Recap:Â
The Rams got off to a slow start in their morning match against Calvary Christian, losing the first set 22-25. In set two, North Central's offense executed some smart plays lead by
Makayla Krohnberg. The senior outside finished the match with 12 digs, 11 kills, and a .364 hitting percentage. NCU won that set 25-16. Set three was a close game as the game was tied 25-25. Freshman
Gabi Reiser went the end line and served 2 hard balls to win the set. The Rams dominated the final set with their unstoppable defense led by freshman libero Kenna Chick's 17 digs and
Kayla Stachowiak's 13 amazing saves. North Central finished the set 25-12 with a final kill by
Lexi Hunter.

Match 2 Recap:Â
The fans got to see some new faces in match two against Oak Hills.
Katie Martin started as the Rams libero and lead the team in digs and serving aces. Set one was led by
Lexi Hunter and
Lexie Semrau's kills that were assisted by newcomer
Kenedi Patin's sets. In set two, freshman
Morgan Ferguson turned some heads with an impressive 8 kills, assisted by
Jada Lee's 5 serving aces. In the Rams final set, the crowd saw defense shine through
Kamry Neptune's scrappy plays and
Mary Botz's power hit to center court. The Rams won all three sets 25-9, 25-5, and 25-9, hitting an impressive .389 hitting percentage and having 23 aces on the match!

Looking Forward:
The Rams return to yet another home match on Tuesday, September 13th, against MIAC opponent Macalester at 7:00 p.m. Â This upcoming weekend, volleyball is also hosting Oak Hills on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. for the NCU's anticipated homecoming event.
