The North Central University (NCU) volleyball hosted Macalester College (MAC). The two teams fought hard against each other in the nonconference matchup. The Scots eventually overcame the Rams in four sets (18-25, 25-22, 18-25, 19-25).

NCU walked onto the court ready to play from the first serve as both teams were tied 11-11. Macalester took the lead with some power hits from their outsides. Even with NCU's 8 total match serving aces lead by passer Kenna Chick, the Rams fell short 7 points in set one.

North Central came back hungry in set two.
Grace Brigson set up the offense to hit 11 kills this game. Not only did the offense produce great swings, the Rams defense executed some unstoppable rallies. Left back passer
Maci Tripp had 9 digs alone with some great coverage by the whole team. The Rams finished Macalester off this set with a serving ace, winning 25-22.

 After winning the set two, NCU and MAC fought back and forth. The scores for the rest of sets were relatively close with lots of momentum changes throughout. The Rams made some tweaks in between sets and in timeouts, while Macalester adjusted their swing placement. Both set three and four got the crowd on their feet with intense rallies and hard fought plays, but the Scots ended up winning the match in 4 sets.
