Box Score Minneapolis, MN - Women's Soccer put up a tough fight against Finlandia Wednesday (9/14) afternoon, but ultimately lost the matchup 0-1. In an evenly matched game, both teams had many high-quality chances and shots on goal throughout the contest. It was the Finlandia Lions that were able to make their mark in the first half scoring in the 20th minute.Â
The Rams were unable to capitalize, but not without a lack of effort.
Hannah Grubbs (Mantua, OH) walked out of the contest with seven shots on net.
Kara Lewis (Mandeville, LA) and
Isabella Connell (Champlin, MN) both had three shots on goal as well. The team as a whole had twenty-one shots and sixteen shots on goal.Â
Having a big performance in net was
Abigail Herbolsheimer (Tawas City, MI). Abigail had fifteen saves on the day only giving up one goal.Â

The Women's Soccer team takes on Northwestern this Saturday (9/17) at 2:00 PM for their homecoming matchup.
