Box Score Minneapolis, MN - Men's Soccer won 1-0 over Minnesota Morris Thursday (9/22) evening. In a tough-fought game, it was the Rams who were able to break through and score the one and only goal of the match.

The Rams carried the momentum for most of the game as the ball was in the offensive zone a majority of the time. The Rams outshot the Cougars 9-1 in the first half, but were unable to capatilize, so the score remained 0-0 at the break. In the second half the Rams continued there possession dominance over the Cougars, and were finally able to break the plain. Caleb Lewis (Mandeville, LA) was able to slam home the shot from right outside the box off the beautiful crossing pass from Elliott Lebsack (Kearney, NE). The goal was recording in the 78th minute of the match, and the Rams continued to have good defense the remainder of the game giving them the 1-0 victory.

Jerad Buse (Kearney, NE) only had two saves on the evening, but that was all that was needed as the Cougars were only able to muster up four shots on the night and two shots on net.
