Box Score Minneapolis, MN - Women's Soccer battles in a high-scoring affair versus Minnesota Morris. The goals came fast in furious Thursday afternoon, but it was the Cougars who were able to come out victorious with a final score of 4-7.

The scoring began early in the contest as the Cougars were able to put one home in just the fourth minute of the match. The Rams responded well, matching the tally in the eighth minute off the foot of Jocelyn Sieh (Plymouth, IN). It was not long after when the Cougars were able to post three goals in the next seven minutes extending their lead to 4-1 over the Rams. The gameplay started to settle down after that until the Ram's Kara Lewis (Mandeville, LA) was able to find the back of the net twice right before half time bringing the score to 4-3 in favor of the Cougars.  

The second-half scoring began with the Cougars adding another tally, which ended up being the game-winning tally in the 56th minute of the contest. Just one minute later, Kara Lewis was able to finish off the hat trick, scoring her third goal of the match and bringing the Rams within one. The Cougars were able to put up a couple more insurance tallies in the 64th and 67th minute, bringing the score to the eventual final of 4-7 Cougars.
