Box Score Minneapolis, MN - Women's Soccer made a strong effort against the Crown College Polars on Saturday (9/24) afternoon. The final score of the contest ended at 2-0 in favor of the Polars.Â
The Rams fought hard, bought the firepower of the Polars was too much. In the first half, the Polars out shot the Rams fourteen to three, with ten on net for the Polars and two for the Rams. The Polars found the back of the net on one of those shots in the first half, as they scored early on in the sixth minute of the match. The score would remain 1-0 at the end of the half.
In the second half, Crown would continue their shot dominance over the Rams with a thirteen-to-nothing advantage. The second goal for Crown came in the 75th minute, where the score would remain the rest of the match. The highlight of the day for the Rams was goalkeeper
Abigail Herbolsheimer (Tawas City, MI). Herbolsheimer had thirteen saves in the contest.
