Minneapolis, MN - Rocket League teams split matches, Gold with the win, Blue with the loss.
Â
Team Blue lost their second match of the season going 0-3 against Central Penn College. Blue struggled to clear the ball from the goal, causing them to play more grouped, leaving more space for the opponents to attack and get more shots on goal. Â
Team Gold was able to play much better going 3-0 against Neumont College of Computer Science. Even though the second game only had 2 goals from NCU, they were able to get 10 shots fired on goal. This led to the third game, where they were able to convert more of those shots into goals with 6 goals on only 11 total shots.Â
Micah "Miciliux"Â Headley from NCU Gold says, "We were outpacing the other team this week, it was tough to play fast but, we ended up getting the win."Â
Looking ahead, Rocket League's next competition is next
