Lincoln, NE-- Rams Baseball finished up their three-game series against Nebraska Wesleyan. A strong first inning led to North Central having a successful early game, but late-game struggles haunted the team today. Errors and walks would lead to a 23-2 loss for the Blue and Gold.
The Rams would start off with a multi-hit first inning grabbing an early two-run lead. Michael Escalante would get the bats going for North Central and Mike Maanum would follow it up with a line drive to center field. Casey Welsh would bring home their first run of the game with a line drive to right field. Maanum would later score the second and final run for the Blue and Gold on a wild pitch.
