- Taking space proved to be difficult for the squad and they only took 4 rounds on their attack half, losing 8-13
- Trent "twiddle" Flaming kept NCU'S hope alive in round 9 with an impressive defensive ace
- Jack "cubbie" Hansen earned team MVP as the only member of the team with a positive KDA
Map 2 Pearl (13-9 L)
- Feeling more in sync after one map of play, NCU was able to find 7 rounds of attack, finishing the first half 7-5
- Continuing to struggle keeping space, the Rams were only able to get 2 rounds losing the game 13-9 and the series 2-0
- William "Grif" Chappel proved to be crucial to what little success NCU was able to find, having the highest KDA and securing 4 post-plant rounds with his utility as Viper
