Roseville, MN -- North Central University's (NCU) Baseball team traveled to Reynolds Field to play a single game against The University of Northwestern Eagles. NCU would score first, but couldn't keep up the pace. North Central would also fall behind in hits, leading to the loss.
North Central led off the game with a strikeout, but Kyle Huerth would be hit by a pitch, bringing up Daniel Montana. Montana would hit a two-run blast to left field taking the lead in the top of the first. Jon Ankerfelt started on the mound and Northwestern would score three runs taking the lead. Montana would hit a single and reach second on a past ball. Teagan Burch would hit a double scoring Montana and tying the game. The Eagles would score one of their own retaking the lead. They would score three more runs in the bottom of the sixth, taking a 7-3 lead. In the top of the seventh, Nate Boyer would reach on a walk, and Mike Maanum would hit him in. Huerth would follow it up with a double of his own scoring Maanum, and bringing the game to 5-7. Northwestern would score three more runs by the top of the ninth and would win the game 10-5.

North Central Baseball will head back to Reynolds Field to host a doubleheader against Martin Luther College, the first pitch will be at 9 AM.
