Softball Run-Ruled By Bethany Lutheran

Mankato, MN -- Tonight, the North Central University (NCU) softball team wrapped up their three-game series versus the Vikings of Bethany Lutheran College (BLC) with a doubleheader in Mankato. The Rams fell in both games as the Vikings secured the season sweep. North Central was outscored 10-1 in game one and 20-0 in game two.

Game 1: NCU 1, BLC 10

The Rams struck first in game one as Delaney Riddle homered to make it 1-0 in the top of the first. However, the NCU lead would be short-lived as the Vikings answered in the bottom of the inning with two runs of their own. Bethany Lutheran went on to score 10 total runs on 10 hits as they run-ruled the Rams 10-1.

Game 2: NCU 0, BLC 2

Game two would be all Vikings as BLC scored 20 runs off 22 hits. The Rams unable to figure out Bethany's pitching only secured one hit as Maggie Kohl doubled through the left side in the top of the second. Ultimately, North Central fell by a score of 20-0.
