Box Score St. Bonifacius, MN -- This afternoon, the North Central University (NCU) men's basketball team made their way to St. Bonifacius to compete against the Crown College (CC) Polars. In the previous meeting between these two teams earlier this season, the Rams defeated the Polars with a final score of 99-75 at home. Today, North Central secured yet another victory over the Polars, finalizing the score at 85-79. The win secured a season sweep over the Polars in the regular season.

The first half of the matchup was a slow start for North Central's offense as they were down 14-4 within the first five minutes of the game. However, following back to back buckets from NCU's Carrington McNeal, the Rams were able to answer the Polars quick start. Malik Siggers also got himself going, narrowing the margin to just 4 following a three point jumper and a old fashioned three point play which started to turn the momentum in favor of the Rams. After a two minute dry spell from both competitors, Remy Wedgeworth-Brown and McNeal once again contributed offensively with three pointers as the final minutes of the first half came to a close. In the final few seconds of the half, McNeal went into half with a bang as he added one more layup to the board. The Rams trailed 32-37 at the break.

Returning from the half, the Rams were fired up offensively. NCU's Tanner Holtman joined the scoring party, as he hit a couple of three point shots to keep the Rams within striking distance. The half saw a lot of back-and-forth action, with key performances from players like Holtman and Cameron Thomas, who contributed crucial points and played a pivotal role in key moments defensively. Despite some tough plays from Crown, including a consistent scoring attack, NCU's depth and timely defensive efforts late in the game gave them the edge, sealing the win in the final minute. Ultimately, the Rams would steal a huge conference road victory over Polars, with a final score of 85-79.
