UMAC Releases Baseball Postseason Awards

St. Paul, MN -- This morning, the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced the award winners for the 2025 baseball season. The North Central University (NCU) baseball team received awards from four different Rams, highlighted by senior captain Teagan Burch, who earned UMAC First Team All-Conference.

Teagan Burch (Sr., C | St. Paul, MN) received the UMAC All-Conference First Team award. Teagan led the Rams with an OPS percentage of 1.023 (8th in UMAC) and led with 38 runs on the season (10th in UMAC). He also led the UMAC in hit-by-pitches, racking up 18. Burch also stood out as he totaled 5 home runs this season to lead the team. Teagan was also 7th in the UMAC for on-base percentage at 0.500, and ranked 9th in the UMAC in walks, totaling 26. Behind the plate, Burch was 2nd in the UMAC in caught stolen bases at 8.

Caleb Alfaro (So., OF/P | San Antonio, TX) was awarded the UMAC Honorable Mention Award in his sophomore season. Caleb led his team with the highest batting average at .352 and 37 RBIs on the year. He was second on the team with 45 total hits, 10 doubles, and 3 home runs. Caleb was 10th in the UMAC with an on-base percentage of 0.453 and 6th in the conference with 28 walks.

Dawson Barson (Jr., IF | North Logan, UT) also earned UMAC Honorable Mention. Dawson led the Rams with 48 hits and 12 doubles. The junior was a steady out at his shortstop position, ranking 4th in the UMAC with 100 assists.

Kyle Cahill (Fr., C | Rock Springs, WY) received the UMAC All-Sportsmanship Award for the Rams. Cahill appeared in 10 contests in his freshman season.
