Men
Zak Ruhland (Junior | Minneapolis, MN) - Javelin/High Jump
Junior
Zak Ruhland represented the Rams in both the javelin throw and high jump. Ruhland posted a 6th-place finish in the javelin with a throw of 52.17m. His mark finished just 0.46 meters shy of both his personal best and program-record throw set earlier this season. Ruhland also competed in the high jump, where he recorded a no height (NH) in an extremely competitive championship field.
Andre Muteba (Senior | Rio Linda, CA) - Hammer Throw
Senior
Andre Muteba closed out his standout season in the men's hammer throw with a 12th-place national finish. Muteba recorded a top throw of 41.15m against some of the top throwers in the NCCAA. The appearance capped a season that included a school-record performance in the hammer throw earlier this spring.
Josh Hinson (Sophomore | Ellettsville, IN) - 400m Dash
Sophomore
Josh Hinson competed in the men's 400m dash and finished 15th overall with a time of 51.47 seconds. Hinson qualified and competed in the 400-meter dash at the NCCAA National Meet for the second straight season as a Ram.
Women
Joyce Horton (Sophomore | Rosemount, MN) - Triple Jump/400m Hurdles
Sophomore Joyce Horton competed in two events for the Rams and turned in a strong national meet performance. Horton earned an 8th-place finish in the women's triple jump with a mark of 10.05m. She also competed in the women's 400m hurdles, placing 13th overall with a time of 2:11.76 to wrap up a strong sophomore campaign.
