Minneapolis, MN -- North Central University (NCU) Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications & Gameday Operations, Konnor Jusczak, has announced his resignation from NCU after three years of serving in the athletic department. He has accepted a new position to become the Activities Director at New Ulm Public Schools in New Ulm, MN. His final day at North Central will be Friday, July 17.
A North Central alum, Jusczak's connection to NCU Athletics spans six years. He first joined North Central Athletics in 2020 as a student-athlete competing on the Men's Basketball team for two seasons in 2020-21 and 2021-22. He got his start as a gameday student worker in the fall of 2021 before becoming an Athletic Communications Intern in 2022. In February 2023, he was promoted to the full-time Sports Information Director while he was still in his undergraduate degree at NCU. Then in May of 2024, Jusczak was elevated to Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications & Gameday Operations, where he assumed total leadership over the department's athletic communications and gameday operations while also serving on the athletics administrative leadership team. Throughout his tenure, he played an integral role in shaping the department's communications strategy while overseeing website management, creative content, social media, statistics, livestreaming, and student worker development.
Throughout his tenure, Konnor helped elevate the visibility of Rams Athletics through expanded digital storytelling, enhanced branding initiatives, and a renewed emphasis on promoting the accomplishments of North Central's student-athletes, coaches, and programs. He coordinated gameday operations for more than 300 home athletic events, authored and/or coordinated over 1,000 news stories, game recaps, and press releases, and created more than 1,200 social media posts across Instagram, X, and Facebook. His digital marketing efforts generated more than 6.5 million social media views and impressions while growing the department's online audience by 2,100+ new followers. Jusczak also spearheaded a complete redesign of the NCU Athletics website during the summer of 2025 and was instrumental in enhancing the department's livestreaming efforts through the UMAC Sports Network. Beyond his work in communications, his leadership contributed to continued improvements in gameday operations, the development of athletic communications systems and workflows, and the mentorship of more than 75 student workers, providing valuable hands-on experience for the next generation of athletics professionals. In recognition of his contributions to the university, Jusczak was honored with the 2024-25 NCU Support Staff Member of the Year Award and the 2025-26 Secret Service Award.
Jusczak graduated from North Central University in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management while minoring in Accounting & Finance and Biblical Studies. As a student he earned UMAC Academic All-Conference honors twice, was named to the Dean's List six times, graduated Summa Cum Laude, and helped establish the university's Student-Athlete Leadership Council (SALC).
"I will forever be grateful for my time at NCU," said Jusczak. "The relationships I've built with our staff, student-athletes, and the entire campus community are what I'll cherish most. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities I've been given to grow as both a professional and a person, and I truly believe those experiences have prepared me for this next chapter. While it's difficult to say goodbye, becoming a high school AD has been a long-term career goal of mine, and I'm excited for the opportunity to serve the students, coaches, and community of New Ulm. North Central will always hold a special place in my heart."
North Central University Athletics extends its sincere gratitude to Konnor for his years of dedicated service and wishes him the very best as he begins this next chapter.
Thank you, Konnor!
