2024-25 Season Highlights

Competed in 5 events for the Rams... Had a stroke average of 77.5... In the fall, his lowest round was 71(E) on day two of the Maverick Fall Brawl hosted by Minnesota State Mankato in Hudson, Wisconsion at the Troy Burne Golf Club... Took 3rd place at the UMAC Championship Meet, shooting rounds of 83, 75, and 75 for a total of 233 (+17)... Team MVP... UMAC First Team All-Conference.

2023-24 Season Highlights

Competed in 11 tournaments for the Rams... Hit a stroke average of 76.5... In the fall, he shot a season low 71 (-1) on day three of the UMAC Championships and at the MLC Invite... In the spring, he tied his career low with a 69 (-2) on day two of the Iowa Central Spring Invite at the Fort Dodge Country Club... Crowned UMAC Men's Golf Champion for his 1st place playoff win at the UMAC Championship Meet... Tied for 1st place at the MLC Invite... Tied for 2nd at the NCCAA Regionals... UMAC First Team All-Conference... NCU Men's Golf Team MVP... Ram of the Week for the week of Oct 9th.

2022-23 Season Highlights

Competed in 6 tournaments for the Rams... Hit a stroke average of 76.9... Shot a career-best of 69 at the Maverick Invitational in August... Secured a first place finish at the UMAC Preview... Earned All-UMAC First Team for his 8th place finish at the UMAC Championships... Earned UMAC Player of the Week twice.

2021-22 Season Highlights 

Competed in five tournaments for the Rams... Stroke average of 76.38... Shot a season low of 72 at the Loras Spring Invitational (3rd lowest round in NCU History)... Won his first collegiate tournament at the NCU Triangular... Finished fifth place in the UMAC Championships earning him First Team All-UMAC... Named UMAC Rookie of the Year.

Golfed at Liberty High School in Madera, CA... Graduated in 2017.

Jacob was born February 13th, 1999 in Colorado... Parents are Greg and Tracy Sweeney... Greg is the Director of Golf Operations at NCU.
