2026 Season Highlights

Competed in the indoor and outdoor seasons for the Rams... In the indoor season, she set a new program record in the 60m hurdles at the Vanessa Seljeskog Classic with a PR time of 9.98 seconds (6th in UMAC)... In the outdoor season, Joyce set a PR in the 100m dash, clocking 13.66 seconds at the Stomper Open... She took 5th in the triple jump at the Gustie Twilight with a leap of 10.64m (3rd in UMAC)... Joyce shined at the UMAC Outdoor Championship, placing top 4 in three different events... She took 3rd place in the triple jump (10.40m) and the 400m hurdles (1:09.52, 3rd in UMAC)... She also placed 4th in the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.71 seconds (5th in UMAC)... Qualified for the NCCAA Nationals in the triple jump and 400m hurdles... Horton earned an 8th-place finish in the women's triple jump with a mark of 10.05m... She also placed 13th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 2:11.76... UMAC Outdoor All-Conference in the 400m hurdles... 2025 Season Highlights

Competed in both the indoor and outdoor seasons for North Central... In the indoor season, Joyce had a remarkable first season... She ran a program record of 10.06 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles at the Jack Johnson Classic... Joyce also broke the North Central record in the high jump at the Mark Schuck Open at 1.46m... At the CSB/SJU Invite, Joyce finished the 400 with a time of 1:04.70, putting up another personal best... At the UMAC Indoor Championships, she shined as she placed top ten in 5 different events... She placed 2nd in the triple jump (10.41m), 4th in the high jump (1.37m), 4th in the 60m hurdles (10.17), and 9th in the 400m (1:05.62)... In the outdoor season, Joyce set two personal bests in the 100m and 200m at the Hamline Invitational, with times of 13.75 and 28.21 seconds... Joyce set yet another program record at the Gary Wilson Invitational in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:08.89... She kept the streak going as she broke the NCU record in 100-meter hurdles at the UMAC Outdoor Championships with a time of 15.63 seconds (1st place)... Also at the UMAC Championships, she took 1st in the triple jump (10.77m), 3rd in the 400m hurdles (1:09.18), and 8th in the high jump (1.37m)... Joyce was a member of the 4x400 relay team that placed 2nd with a record-breaking time of 4:11.31... Qualified for the NCCAA Nationals in the 100m hurdles, 400m hurdles, and the triple jump... She advanced to the finals as she completed the 100m hurdles in 15.70 seconds in prelims... She finished 11th nationally with a time of 15.80 seconds... Won UMAC Indoor All-Conference in the triple jump... NCU Female Rookie of the Year... 2x UMAC Field Athlete of the Week... 4x Ram of the Week... UMAC Academic All-Conference... Fall & Spring Athletic Director Honor Roll.

Joyce was born on August 5th, 2006... Majoring in Psychology... Parents are Tinikia Jones and Johnny Horton... Participated in ministry council, activities council, and was a house leader in high school... Member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at North Central.
